Specialty CalcutTas
Release Round-Up
JACKPOT – $54,000
The Release Round-Up consists of three rounds over three days of fishing (1 round per day).
Numbers ranging from 6 to 15 will be drawn during each round of fishing. The number drawn equals the minimum number of points a team must score to advance in the round. A team must advance through each round to have a chance to win the pot.
In the final round, if more than one boat records the required number of points, the team that scores the most points in that round will win, and a tie will be broken on the time of last release. The bonus points awarded for a Slam during the day are not factored into the scorekeeping for this category.
If there is no winner, the jackpot will roll over to the next event.
Entry fee is $2,000 per boat.
Pick 3
JACKPOT – $27,000
Before fishing begins, three of the six eligible species are drawn at random. Teams must catch all three of the randomly selected species for a chance to win.
The team with the highest combined points from the selected species will win. Heaviest gamefish must weigh at least 15 lbs.
Eligible species: Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna.
If no team qualifies, the jackpot rolls forward.
Entry fee is $1,000 per boat.
Slammed Out
JACKPOT – $27,000
The prize money in this category will be awarded to the team with the most slams (blue, white, and sail) in the tournament. Any ties will be decided by the time of the last release for a team’s final slam of the tournament.
If there is no winner, the jackpot will roll over to the next event.
Entry fee is $1,000 per boat.
Gamefish
Heaviest Fish Overall – $27,000
Heaviest Dolphin – $9,000
Heaviest Wahoo – $9,000
Heaviest Tuna – $9,000
Eligible species: Dolphin, Wahoo, and Tuna.
Entry fee is $2,000 per boat.
